Former FBI general counsel and lead prosecutor of the Trump-Russia collusion investigation, Andrew Weissmann, made quite the splash during his appearance on MSNBC. With excitement in his voice, Weissmann declared that the leaked audio recording of a conversation between Donald Trump and guests spells “game over” for the former president. Oh boy, the plot thickens! But hold your horses, folks, because the latest report from CBS News has burst our bubble of anticipation. Turns out, the much-talked-about audio is not even a part of the federal indictment against Jack Smith. What a letdown!
