Donald Trump gets called every name in the book by the left. Every time you turn on a mainstream channel or scroll social media, liberals are screaming that he’s some wild threat to America. But here’s the inconvenient truth—when you actually look at the record, Trump’s policies aren’t radically different from the darlings of the Democratic Party, like Hillary Clinton. The left just can’t admit it, because their entire agenda depends on painting Trump as a villain and Clinton as some kind of saint.
Let’s talk facts. Both Trump and Clinton have supported strong border security at different times. Under Clinton, it was fine to talk tough about borders. When does Trump do it? Oh, suddenly it’s “inhumane.” It’s laughable. The left applauds Clinton for wanting to build a barrier, but if Trump so much as mentions a wall, they chant “racist” at the top of their lungs. That’s called hypocrisy, plain and simple.

Don’t forget, both of these politicians have used tough language about our enemies abroad. Clinton was more than willing to flex America’s muscle when it suited her. She even bragged about military action and regime change. But the minute Trump stands up to foreign bullies, the left cries “authoritarian.” They don’t care about truth—they push whatever fits their narrative. Why? Because it’s all about power. It’s never about principle.
The average voter sees through this nonsense. Globalists and swamp creatures loved Clinton because she played their game. Trump, for all his faults, refused to bow down to those who want to sell America out to the highest bidder. The leftist media can dress it up however they want, but the bottom line is this: both sides have used tough tactics. One just pretends to be above it.
Democrats are terrified to admit how much they’re like the people they claim to despise. Maybe it’s guilt. Maybe it’s just political theater. Either way, Americans should stop falling for this double standard. If Trump is a “threat to democracy,” maybe the Democrats had better take a hard look in the mirror before casting the next stone.
