The White House Makes More Troubling Corrections to a Biden Transcript
In recent days, the President Joe Biden made some controversial statements while giving a commencement speech at Morehouse College and attending a dinner with the NAACP in Detroit. He mentioned white supremacy during the college speech, and at the dinner, he made some notable gaffes, including referring to the J6 defendants as “erectionists” instead of insurrectionists.

While it may be amusing to see these mistakes in the transcript and the subsequent corrections, it is worrying that there have been so many errors in Biden’s statements that needed correction. In the first four months of 2024 alone, there have been 148 corrections to his transcripts, which is a significant concern for a sitting president.
It’s not just the sheer number of corrections that is alarming but also the nature of the edits. These corrections have ranged from simple name and date changes to modifications that significantly alter the meaning of the president’s statements. Some changes have even been made stealthily, without any indication that a mistake was initially made.
What is equally frustrating is the lack of curiosity from the mainstream media regarding these corrections. If a similar situation had occurred with a Republican president like Donald Trump, the media would likely have been relentless in their coverage. However, the silence surrounding Biden’s numerous corrections speaks volumes about the bias in the press.
It is essential for the media to hold all elected officials accountable, regardless of their political affiliation. The mainstream media’s lack of interest in Biden’s transcript corrections raises concerns about their impartiality and integrity in reporting the news.
