Whoopi Goldberg Slammed for Comparing U.S. to Iran on The View

Whoopi Goldberg once again showed her disdain for America on national television, offering an absurd comparison between the United States and Iran on “The View.” Her remarks expose a deep-seated ignorance or, worse, an outright contempt for the freedoms she enjoys. Comparing America’s past mistakes to Iran’s current brutal regime is not only misguided but shockingly ignorant.

The Islamic Republic of Iran is a place of horror. They punish gay people by death, and women face beatings for simply showing their hair. Yet, Whoopi insists that this is equivalent to living as a minority in America’s modern, free society. Such moral blindness is why rational debate is nearly impossible with leftist ideologues. They seem to love slandering America while ignoring the harsh realities of places like Iran.

It’s breathtakingly hypocritical. In Iran, women have no freedom. Critics of the regime face torture or worse. Meanwhile, in Whoopi’s America, she can bash the U.S. government from her comfy studio, all while enjoying the fruits of freedom and democracy. Would she even survive defaming the ruling powers if she were broadcasting from Tehran? The question answers itself.

This is the kind of narrative that the left uses to distract from real issues. They want us to believe America is a monstrous place because it suits their agenda of perpetual outrage. But the truth is, America isn’t just better; it’s exceptional. Iran, by contrast, remains entrenched in medieval punishment and intolerance.

Would Whoopi rather exchange her freedoms here for a forced hijab and no free speech there? It’s doubtful. Only someone lost in their ideology could make such a comparison with a straight face. America isn’t perfect, but it is miles ahead of Iran or any regime that tortures its own people for daring to be different.
