Debbie Wasserman Schultz is living in a distorted reality where the biggest “threat” to American values is sitting in the White House, while Islamists do their best to literally dismantle the Western world. This is a mind-boggling example of how far off course the liberal ship has drifted. When radical Islamists plot attacks on Christmas markets in Germany, open fire on Hanukkah celebrations in Australia, and force Paris to cancel beloved traditions because of terror threats, it’s clear who the real danger is. Yet, Wasserman Schultz insists that it’s not those who drive fear into our holidays with bullets and bloodshed. It’s our own president.
This is a prime example of the liberal infatuation with identity politics and their obsession with vilifying President Trump. Instead of recognizing the very real threats posed by radical Islamists who have declared war on Western values and freedom for centuries, they play the victim card. Wasserman Schultz argues that Trump divides while ignoring who and what truly tears us apart. September 11 should have taught us this already. Yet, she calls Trump a destroyer of democracy while these real threats continue to mount.

The Democrats seem driven by an agenda to downplay the dangers of radical Islam, simply because it doesn’t fit their narrative. They choose to focus on their manufactured fear of Trump, diverting attention from what truly threatens our American way of life. This blatant ignorance is a failing on their part to defend our beloved nation.
Radical Islamists have spilled American blood, from New York City to our troops overseas. They have and will continue their campaign of terror, all while liberals like Wasserman Schultz make feeble attempts to paint the horsemen of national ruin as less of a threat than mere personality disagreements with the president. It’s laughable and disgraceful.
So what’s left to say? As Western society grapples with the ever-present menace of radical Islam, we have liberal leaders who prefer to point fingers at their fellow Americans instead. What other absurdities can one expect from liberals? When will folks like Wasserman Schultz wake up to the real threat? And when will we stop falling for their political charades?
