Your Taxes Fund Radical Anti-Trump Camp Teaching Marxist Tactics

Taxpayer money is being used to fund a radical anti-Trump summer camp in Chicago where activists learn Marxist tactics and “queer magic” rituals. The event, called “Subversion Summer Camp,” started July 17 and runs through July 27. It’s hosted by a group linked to the Public Media Institute, which has accepted over $320,000 in government grants since 2020.

The camp features shocking anti-Trump propaganda, including signs that compare the former president to Adolf Hitler and label his administration “Nazis.” Participants allegedly learn protest strategies to resist law enforcement during demonstrations, with sessions titled “Disarming Police: Protest and Direct Action Tactics”.

Radical organizers have reimagined Peter Pan as a “queer rewrite” filled with leftist messaging, part of a broader agenda to push Marxist ideology and gender ideology on attendees. They even claim to use magical rituals to “weave a ritual of connection and queer magic”.

This abuse of taxpayer dollars comes as the Trump administration pushes to stop funding groups promoting far-left agendas. Congress recently passed legislation defunding leftist public media outlets, which President Trump is expected to sign.

Critics call this a blatant misuse of public funds. “Hardworking Americans shouldn’t foot the bill for Marxist propaganda or anti-police training,” said one conservative commentator. The group ignored requests to explain why public money supports these activities.

Videos from the event show activists boasting about their efforts to undermine “fascist culture” and teach counterinsurgency tactics. It’s part of a pattern where left-wing nonprofits exploit government grants to promote radical causes.

Many taxpayers are furious. “This is exactly why people hate Washington,” a Chicago resident said. “Why are we paying for this nonsense when our schools, roads, and police need real support?”.

The controversy highlights the need for closer oversight of federal grants. As one commentator noted: “If this is how our money is spent, we’de€™ been better off keeping it in our pockets.” The scandal adds fuel to the debate over federal funding for political activism.
