CNN’s broadcast turned chaotic when Abby Phillip, notorious for her slanted narratives, faced human rights lawyer Brooke Goldstein. It was a classic case of attempted mainstream media manipulation backfiring spectacularly. Phillip kicked off with baseless accusations against Israel, hoping to hammer away at the truth with her liberal bias. But Goldstein came prepared. She made it crystal clear that while Gaza’s humanitarian crisis is devastating, its roots lie with Hamas, not Israel — a fact the leftist media loves to sweep under the rug.
For years, Gaza has been a hotbed of misinformation. The real story? Starvation and chaos erupted when Hamas seized power in 2007. Before that, under Israel’s control, such severe deprivations were unheard of. Yet, Phillip didn’t care to acknowledge this. When Goldstein highlighted how the United Nations wouldn’t distribute aid without Hamas’s non-involvement, Phillip jumped in, her desperation to peddle the same old anti-Israel rhetoric clear as day.
Phillip’s antics showed she’s more interested in spreading a pro-Hamas narrative than grappling with reality. It’s mind-boggling how she attempted to downplay Goldstein’s explanation of Northern Gaza’s aid issues. Rather than show any semblance of balance, Phillip continually interrupted, bulldozing over any attempt to bring forth inconvenient facts.

The cold truth is that Hamas orchestrates crises to gain sympathy, simultaneously hiding behind civilians and banking on the gullibility of a complicit media. Global outrage becomes their shield while they ignore the real consequences of their actions. Yet, the legacy media, predictably, falls in line, distorting facts to fit their agenda.
Phillip’s performance was less journalism, more propaganda. She wore her bias proudly, choosing to excuse Hamas while brushing aside truth and accountability. Maybe it’s time for these media mouthpieces to ask themselves: when will they stop defending the indefensible?
