St. Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana, made a shocking decision to start admitting boys who say they’re girls. Can you believe it? According to The Observer, a student-run newspaper, President Katie Conboy sent an email to the faculty announcing the new policy. She said that St. Mary’s will now consider applications from students who were assigned female at birth or who identify as women. Wow, talk about bending over backward to appease the woke crowd!

President Conboy tried to justify this absurd decision by claiming that other Catholic women’s colleges have done the same thing. She also mentioned a task force she created for gender identity expression. It’s clear that she’s more concerned with being politically correct than upholding the values of a Catholic institution. I mean, come on, you can’t call yourself a women’s college if you’re letting men in!
Thankfully, not everyone is happy about this. Riley Gaines, a spokeswoman for the Independent Women’s Voice, voiced her outrage on social media. She pointed out the ridiculousness of admitting men who simply say they’re women. And I couldn’t agree more. It’s just another example of the left’s agenda infiltrating our schools and eroding traditional values.
This recent decision by St. Mary’s follows a disturbing trend in women’s colleges. Just earlier this year, Wellesley College in Massachusetts started allowing transgender and non-binary applicants. And there was even an all-girls prep school in Nashville, Tennessee that wanted to admit biological males who identify as women. Thankfully, after receiving backlash from donors and the community, they reversed their decision. It’s about time someone stood up against this madness!
