This time, they’ve taken aim at America’s Independence Day celebration, claiming that our great nation was founded on stolen Indigenous land. Can you believe it?

In their misguided message, Ben & Jerry’s called for the return of Mount Rushmore to the Lakota tribe. They argued that the faces carved on the monument represent men who worked to destroy Indigenous cultures and deny their rights. Talk about revisionist history!

Now, let’s get one thing straight. It’s true that the United States has a complicated history when it comes to Native American tribes and broken treaties. But does that mean we should uproot our cherished national landmarks? Absolutely not!
Conservative comedian Tim Young hit the nail on the head when he called out Ben & Jerry’s hypocrisy. If they’re so concerned about stolen land, maybe they should start by giving back their own property. Otherwise, they should just keep their virtue signaling to themselves.
And they’re not the only ones calling out this ice cream company’s outrageous statement. Twitter users from all walks of life are speaking out. Take Kevin Dalton, for example. He sarcastically suggested that Ben & Jerry’s should return their factory’s land to the Native Americans who have lived in Vermont for thousands of years. Brilliant point, Kevin!
Or how about Political Sock? They posed a thought-provoking question about land ownership in Texas, highlighting the complexity of history. It’s clear that Ben & Jerry’s oversimplified narrative fails to address the nuanced reality of our nation’s past.
Even self-proclaimed “not woke” user Joseph Massey took a swipe, reminding Ben & Jerry’s that they should apologize to all the cows they’ve “milked without consent.” Leave it to the Twitterverse to bring some much-needed comedic relief to this ridiculous situation.
And it’s not just everyday Americans who are up in arms. Senator Mike Lee, a staunch conservative, expressed his disappointment in the ice cream company’s statement. He vowed to boycott them, questioning what exactly Ben & Jerry’s meant by “returning” the land. Are they suggesting we expunge property rights or even repatriate Americans to Europe? It’s a slippery slope, my friends.
In conclusion, Ben & Jerry’s may be known for their delicious ice cream flavors, but they’ve definitely lost their way when it comes to politics. Their latest statement, attacking our nation’s history and calling for the removal of Mount Rushmore, is nothing short of outrageous. It’s a prime example of liberal virtue signaling at its worst. So, if you’re a proud American who values our heritage, it’s time to take a stand and say no to Ben & Jerry’s radical agenda.
