Finally, some common sense and moral clarity from National Security Council spokesman John Kirby! It’s about time someone in the Biden administration spoke out against the outrageous accusations of genocide and apartheid being levied against Israel. These terms are being dishonestly deployed by the ignorant or malevolent individuals who are doing the bidding of Hamas, a truly genocidal terrorist organization.
Let’s be clear here: it is Hamas, not Israel, that engages in the very actions they accuse Israel of. Hamas openly calls for the destruction of Israel and the annihilation of Jews in its founding document. Their leaders’ words are explicitly genocidal, and their actions speak volumes. Just look at the constant barrage of rockets they launch at Israel with the intention of killing as many Jews as possible. And let’s not forget the recent bloodthirsty killing spree they carried out inside Israel, the largest single-day slaughter of Jews since the Holocaust.

Yet, despite all this evidence, some people still try to argue that Israel is the one carrying out a genocide. Give me a break! Israel has the military superiority to carry out such an act, but they have consistently shown restraint and a commitment to avoiding civilian casualties. Israel is a civilized country that values innocent lives and has no desire to wipe out an entire group of people. The Palestinian population has actually increased in recent decades, which is not indicative of a genocide.
Meanwhile, Hamas, with the support of Iran, is actively seeking the means to carry out a genocide. And they operate out of civilian areas, intentionally using hospitals and other infrastructure as shields. It’s sick and evil. Whatever the death toll in Gaza, it is important to remember that a significant portion of it consists of Hamas terrorists, as well as Palestinians killed by Hamas and Islamic Jihad rockets gone astray. Hamas even sacrifices its own people as human shields, celebrating them as martyrs.
There is no moral equivalency in this conflict. Israel strives to minimize civilian casualties, while Hamas deliberately puts innocent lives at risk. It’s disgraceful that some individuals try to twist the truth and portray Israel as the aggressor. Thankfully, most Americans see through this lunacy. The Hamas apologists are nothing more than a loud and demented fringe. It’s time for the world to stand with Israel and recognize the reality of the situation.
