President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden are planning to pay their respects to the late Rosalynn Carter, but the sneaky White House officials are being as secretive as a cat in a fish market when it comes to whether they will attend the former first lady’s funeral. Can you believe it? The nerve of these folks!
Rosalynn Carter, the wife of former President Jimmy Carter, passed away in Georgia at the ripe old age of 96. Her husband, who’s pushing 100, is now the oldest living former president. Can you imagine being that old and still having to deal with political shenanigans?

Now, here’s where it gets good. The White House press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, was bombarded with questions about the Bidens’ plans during Monday’s press briefing. She did confirm that Joe Biden will be ordering the flags at the White House and other federal buildings to be lowered to half-staff to honor Rosalynn Carter. At least there’s one thing they’re willing to admit!
But get this, when it comes to whether the Bidens will actually attend the funeral, Jean-Pierre gave the classic runaround. She said, “I don’t have anything to share at this time on details or anything to confirm just yet,” and then promised to share the details “when they have them.” Hmm, sounds fishy to me!
Joe Biden also made a statement about Rosalynn Carter, saying she’ll “always be in our hearts.” He went on and on about their “more than four decades of friendship” and how wonderful she was. It’s all just too much, if you ask me.
Anyway, the whole thing is just a big, dramatic mess. The Bidens are keeping their plans hush-hush, and the White House is dancing around the issue like they’re at a masquerade ball. What’s next, are they going to tell us they can’t confirm whether the sky is blue? It’s all just too much!
