The Biden Administration’s push to force woke ideology down the throats of American students has hit a new low. Miguel Cardona, the Secretary of Education, couldn’t even define what a woman is during a House Appropriations subcommittee hearing. When Rep. Andrew Clyde (R-GA) asked Cardona to define a “woman,” the Secretary refused to give a straight answer. Instead, he kept repeating that his job is to ensure that all students, including those who identify as LGBTQ+, have equal access to education free from discrimination.

While Cardona danced around the question, Clyde pressed him further, asking if he believed that biological males who self-identify as females should be allowed to compete in women’s sports. But Cardona still refused to give a simple answer or even define the term “woman.” The proposed Title IX rules would mean that schools and colleges are unable to take advantage of federal funding if they adopt a policy that bans transgender students from sports teams. But this is a blatant disregard for the safety and well-being of female athletes, who could be forced to compete against biological males, putting them at a competitive disadvantage and even risking injury.

It’s not just in athletics where the Biden Administration is pushing their radical agenda. They also want schools to allow biological males who identify as females to use female bathrooms and changing rooms. But what about the privacy and safety concerns of female students? Cardona gave the typical woke response that they want all students to feel safe in their school environment, but what about the privacy and safety of female students?
The Biden Administration’s willingness to ignore the biological differences between males and females in the name of “equality” is alarming. It’s time for American parents to push back against this dangerous ideology that puts the needs of a few above the rights of the many.
