The Biden-Harris administration continues its winning streak in governmental ineptitude, showcasing yet again that when the going gets tough, they get lost in the sauce. With communities across the southern United States trying to pick up the pieces after a devastating hurricane, the federal response has turned into a circus act, complete with a three-ring fiasco of neglect and misplaced priorities. Nearly 200 lives have been lost, while hundreds more remain unaccounted for. Yet, amidst this disaster, the administration has been busy channeling money intended for disaster relief into programs aimed at assisting illegal immigrants instead.
The Biden-Harris duo has decided that FEMA’s funding should be siphoned off to support those who circumvented the immigration laws of this country. They diverted over a billion tax dollars from FEMA for “humanitarian services” under a so-called Shelter and Services Program aimed at migrants. Just to put this into perspective, while Americans are grappling with the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, FEMA projects for the current and next fiscal years include nearly $1 billion in spending to pamper noncitizen migrants instead of helping red-blooded Americans who have lost everything. The irony is palpable – the agency tasked with American disaster relief seems more interested in global humanitarianism at the expense of U.S. citizens.

As the waters rose and the death toll mounted, Vice President Kamala Harris made her predictable appearance, complete with a trendy crisis jacket and a paltry offering of $750 to those suffering from the storm’s wrath. One has to wonder how such an insult made it past any sort of competent review process. Perhaps a couple of zeros could have been added to that number if the administration hadn’t been busy rolling out the welcome mat for illegal immigrants and lining the pockets of foreign nations like Ukraine. While American families grapple with the aftermath of a deadly hurricane, our leaders are throwing cash around like confetti in a parade, but surprisingly none of that confetti seems to be intended for legitimate Americans in need.
The response to Hurricane Helene has been nothing short of sluggish, leading many to question whether this is an issue of incompetence or plain indifference. One might take their pick between the two, as this administration appears to have perfected the art of government apathy. They somehow manage to make every disaster feel like a completely botched government-sponsored performance art piece, leaving those affected twisting in the wind – literally. A well-timed photo op by Harris captures nothing but the truth of this administration’s neglect. While Americans waited with bated breath for aid, the Vice President seemed more interested in her social media aesthetic than the reality of the devastation occurring on the ground.
As the Biden-Harris duo continues to grapple with their poor decisions, the corporate media played its part by downplaying the crisis as it unfolds. Their attempts to spin this situation only highlight the administration’s systemic failures. Americans deserve a government that focuses on its own citizens first, especially in times of crisis, but the current leadership seems ill-prepared to deliver even basic support during a natural disaster. With their priorities clearly skewed, one can only wonder how many more times the American people will allow themselves to be blindsided by a government more devoted to appearing ‘woke’ than actually providing aid where it’s needed.
