President Joe Biden made a surprising statement to reporters after attending Mass at a church in Rehoboth Beach. He declared, “I have no home to go to.” Wow, sounds like someone needs to find their way back to the White House! But don’t worry, he clarified that he’s not actually homeless, he just can’t go back to his beautiful home because the Secret Service is working to make it more secure. In the meantime, he’s enjoying his time in Rehoboth Beach, because apparently, that’s the only place he can go in Delaware.
Of course, the Associated Press felt the need to defend our vacation-loving president, citing criticism from those pesky Republicans. They reminded us that Biden has been known to take trips to Lake Tahoe and Nevada while the White House is left empty. But what they failed to mention is that he was vacationing in Rehoboth Beach at the time of the Maui wildfires and didn’t seem too concerned about it. And let’s not forget about the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, over six months ago, which Biden still hasn’t bothered to visit.
CNN Has Quite the Take on a President Who's Spent 40% of His Time in Office on Vacation

You know, it’s hard to blame the president for wanting to avoid the White House on weekends. He’s already admitted that it’s “hard to get comfortable” there. But come on, Biden, you can’t just spend all your time in Rehoboth Beach while the rest of the country is facing crises. Maybe if you spent a little less time on vacation and a little more time actually doing your job, things would be better for the American people. Just a thought.
