The calamity that is Biden’s re-election continues to unfold, and it just took a nosedive after his disastrous debate against Donald Trump in Atlanta. While everyone in his corner is still scrambling for the Advil, the New York Times tells us the Biden clan, holed up at Camp David, is standing firm on the three-legged stool that is Joe’s campaign.
Inside the cozy bunker, it’s reported that Hunter Biden led the charge for Dad to stay in the race. This is the same Hunter whose laptop revelations are more infamous than Hillary’s emails. He wants Americans to see some mythical version of Joe that only he seems to believe exists – one that’s sharp and factual, unlike the bewildered figure most of America saw fumbling on stage.
Meanwhile, Jill Biden is still in full Nurse Ratchet mode. Video evidence from the debate night showed her almost physically maneuvering Joe off the stage and later patting him on the back for a job well done because apparently, simply surviving the ordeal and answering some questions now qualifies as a win in Biden-world. The following day in Raleigh, North Carolina, she sang Joe’s praises, all while her hubby stood there looking like he couldn’t remember if he’d left the stove on.

As per well-placed sources from Camp David, it’s becoming clear this isn’t Joe’s campaign anymore, if it ever was. Jill Biden sees Joe as her puppet to pull the strings on from the East Wing. And why wouldn’t she? Who wouldn’t want to be queen of the castle without ever climbing the treacherous mountain of public opinion herself?
Hunter’s motives are sketchier than those of a used car salesman at a lemon lot. He likely sees his dad’s presidency not just as another fine entry on his résumé but also as a potential get-out-of-jail-free card for his myriad legal issues. Joe’s claimed he wouldn’t issue a pardon but believe that when pigs fly.
This bizarre power dynamic isn’t what Americans signed up for. The voters didn’t check the box for Jill or Hunter, neo-coronating them as co-presidents. Yet here we are, watching a family desperate to keep their grip on power, not out of public service, but out of unabashed self-interest. They crave the re-election not for America’s prosperity but to keep their own house of cards from collapsing.
One must wonder who really holds the reins in the White House because it sure doesn’t look like Biden. Jill and Hunter seem more like two shady characters behind the curtain, claiming to protect the man while really protecting their interests. America, meet your true rulers – it’s not something out of a democracy, but more like an off-Broadway soap opera where the plot twists come faster than Biden’s gaffes.
