Biden Skips 9/11 Tribute for Alaskan Getaway: VP Harris Left to Honor Victims

In a move that leaves many scratching their heads, President Joe Biden has decided to spend the anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks in Alaska rather than at the more traditional sites of New York, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. It seems like he couldn’t resist the allure of the Last Frontier over paying tribute to the tragic events that unfolded 22 years ago. I mean, who wouldn’t choose Alaska over commemorating one of the darkest days in American history, right?

While Biden will be frolicking in Alaska, Vice President Kamala Harris and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff will dutifully be in New York to attend a commemoration ceremony at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. At least someone in the administration knows the importance of honoring the lives lost and showing respect to those affected by the attacks.

But hey, not to worry, folks! First Lady Jill Biden will be laying a wreath at the Pentagon. So, while the President is off gallivanting in the frozen tundra, at least his wife will be taking a brief pause during her busy schedule to pay tribute to the brave souls who lost their lives in the very place where one of the planes crashed. It’s a touching display of empathy from the First Lady, but it still doesn’t excuse Biden’s strange choice of location.

Apparently, Biden’s Alaskan adventure is timed with his upcoming trip to Asia, where he will attend the G-20 Summit in India and visit Vietnam. Because when you think of the September 11 attacks, your mind naturally wanders to participating in international summits and diplomatic meetings. It’s truly mind-boggling how Biden’s priorities are completely out of whack.

Now, the liberal media might try to defend Biden’s decision by pointing out that other presidents, like Barack Obama and George W. Bush, have also chosen to commemorate the anniversary in alternative locations. But let’s be real here, folks. Just because previous presidents made questionable choices doesn’t mean it’s okay for Biden to follow suit. Two wrongs don’t make a right, as they say.

And let’s not forget that this trip to Alaska comes on the heels of Biden’s month-long vacation spree in August. While hardworking Americans were toiling away, Biden was kicking back at Rehoboth Beach and Lake Tahoe. It’s clear where his priorities lie – with leisurely vacations rather than remembering the lives lost on that fateful September day.

In the end, it’s just another example of Biden’s lackluster leadership and disregard for American values. Instead of standing united with the American people on a day of national remembrance, he chooses to jet off to Alaska for his own personal agenda. It’s a slap in the face to the victims, their families, and all those who continue to fight against terrorism. Shameful, indeed.
