In the not-so-shocking news of the day, President Joe Biden has been caught telling another whopper of a tale. It’s almost comical how this man continuously spins yarns, but then it hits you: this guy is supposedly in charge of running the country. Yikes.
During a recent speech to firefighters in Philadelphia, Biden decided to regale the audience with a tale of the cranial aneurysm he suffered back in 1988. And from there, things went off the rails. First, he couldn’t even remember the name of the helicopter he frequently flies on. It’s called Marine One, Joe. Come on, man!
Biden claims Ronald Reagan sent "Air Force Helicopter One" to take him to the hospital when he had a brain aneurysm in the 1980s.
His story "is not supported by either his own autobiography or by Reagan’s daily presidential diary," according to @stevennelson10. pic.twitter.com/hJ9aSy0cud

Then, to add some extra spice to the story, Biden made a wild claim about former President Ronald Reagan’s role in the whole affair. According to Biden, President Reagan sent “Air Force Helicopter One” to take him to the hospital. The only problem is, that’s not what actually happened. Reagan’s daily diary shows no discussions about sending a chopper to Biden, and even Biden’s own autobiography doesn’t line up with this tall tale.
The tale Biden told in his 2007 memoir painted a completely different picture, and surprise, surprise, it didn’t involve President Reagan sending a helicopter. Instead, Biden’s brother scrambled to find a neurosurgeon, but bad weather prevented a medevac helicopter flight. So, Biden ended up taking an ambulance through a snowstorm. At least that’s what he claimed in his book.
So, with these conflicting stories, who knows which one is true? But what we do know is that Biden’s team didn’t respond to inquiries about the validity of this latest version of the tale. They’ve probably got their hands full trying to keep up with all the other stories Biden keeps getting tangled in. And to think, there are people out there who think this guy can handle another four years in the White House. Seriously, Ronald Reagan might do a better job at this point!
