President Joe Biden’s pricey climate agenda seems to be falling flat with voters in crucial battleground states, as revealed by recent polling from The Wall Street Journal. With over $1 trillion being funneled into his environmental initiatives, you would think it’s a surefire hit, right? Wrong!
According to the WSJ’s survey of 2,100 registered voters in key states like Arizona, Georgia, and Pennsylvania, a mere 2% thought climate change was the most pressing issue for the upcoming 2024 election. Compare that to the 25% who are laser-focused on immigration and the 22% who are sweating over the state of the economy. Looks like Biden might be barking up the wrong tree with his green crusade!

The left-leaning White House has been gushing over Biden’s “ambitious climate, conservation, and environmental justice agenda,” but it’s clear that regular folks aren’t exactly singing praises. While Biden is patting himself on the back for his eco-friendly policies, voters are more concerned about tangible issues like border security and financial stability. Hey, Mr. President, maybe it’s time to tune in to what the people really care about!
Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) alone is projected to burn through around $1.2 trillion for green energy subsidies, as estimated by Goldman Sachs. That’s a whole lot of taxpayer dollars going towards solar panels and windmills. And let’s not forget his push for electric vehicles (EVs) and strict regulations targeting the energy sector. It’s like he’s playing Captain Planet but forgetting that people need affordable gas and electricity!
Environmentalists might be doing cartwheels over Biden’s environmental policies, but the average voter seems to have other priorities. While green groups shower Biden with accolades, regular Americans are more worried about practical issues that affect their daily lives. Come on, Joe, get with the program and start focusing on what truly matters to the hardworking citizens of this country!
As the 2024 election looms closer, it’s clear that Biden’s climate agenda isn’t exactly striking a chord with voters.
