Biden’s Ohio Photo Op: Too Little, Too Late?

It’s always a big to-do when a Democratic president decides to grace Middle America with their presence, and this time is no exception. President Joe Biden is finally making his way to East Palestine, Ohio, to mark the first anniversary of a train derailment that caused all sorts of havoc for the residents. But don’t go thinking he’s doing this out of the kindness of his heart – ol’ Joe just loves to grab some good ol’ photo ops.

The White House claims Biden will have a chat with the folks who got caught up in the mess, as well as talk about how his administration has been oh so helpful in handling the situation. It’s a real hoot to hear them toot their own horn like that! And to make matters worse, they’re still trying to blame Norfolk Southern for everything, as if they ain’t got no responsibility themselves.

But you know who’s been there for the people of East Palestine from the get-go? That’s right, none other than President Donald Trump. When the disaster struck, he hightailed it over there and personally handed out bottled water to the residents. Now that’s what I call a real leader! His team even took a jab at ol’ Biden, pointing out how he could never be bothered to show up even after making all sorts of promises.

And let’s not forget how Biden flew right over East Palestine last August on his way to one of his “Bidenomics” events. Now that’s some grade-A disrespect right there! The man can’t even be bothered to take a little detour and show some support for the folks who’ve been through so much. But I guess that’s just par for the course with ol’ Joe.

In the end, it’s just plain laughable how Biden and his crew are trying to turn this visit into some heroic act. If you ask me, it’s too little, too late. But who knows, maybe the folks in East Palestine will enjoy the circus coming to town for a change.
