In a shocking revelation, Democratic strategist Donna Brazile, a former Chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, made some interesting comments about Donald Trump’s political “movement” during an appearance on ABC News’ “This Week.” Brace yourself, folks!
Brazile expressed her amazement at Trump’s ability to galvanize his supporters, comparing it to only two other movements she had witnessed in her lifetime – the Reagan movement and the Obama “hope and change” movement. Now, as a conservative, let me just say that I wholeheartedly disagree with her assessment. The Reagan movement was about standing up for American values and the Obama movement was all about hope and change. But the Trump movement? It’s something entirely different and apparently incomprehensible to us conservatives.
According to Brazile, Trump’s resilience in the face of adversities is mind-boggling. She pointed out that even things like being indicted or using an unflattering mug shot to raise money only seem to make him stronger. Now, I won’t deny that Trump has had his fair share of controversies, but to imply that his ability to overcome them makes him more powerful is just liberal hogwash. It’s as if Brazile is suggesting that the law doesn’t matter, and that’s just not how we conservatives see things.
LOL the fact that there are Democrats shocked by the GOP reaction to Trump’s indictments shows they really are clueless to how half the country feels about our government. https://t.co/ivZ6MOBqQi

Not only did Brazile sing Trump’s praises, but Reihan Salam, another commentator on the segment, also chimed in with his thoughts on Trump’s campaign strategy. He commended Trump’s focus on appealing to specific groups, such as UAW members, by addressing topics like transitioning away from combustion engine vehicles. Now, I don’t know about you, but for me, a conservative with a passion for freedom and limited government, focusing on wonky issues doesn’t exactly inspire confidence. It’s the substance of his policy proposals that matters, not just the way he presents them.
In a surprising twist, a Wall Street Journal poll showed that a presidential election between Joe Biden and Donald Trump would be tied, with Trump leading the Republican field by 46 points. Now, I must say, this poll seems suspiciously skewed toward the liberal agenda. It’s no secret that the mainstream media loves to undermine conservative candidates, and this poll is just another example of that bias.
So, while Donna Brazile and Reihan Salam may be singing praises and analyzing Trump’s alleged “movement,” as a conservative, it’s important to take a step back and question the impact and validity of these claims. Trump’s approach may be entertaining to some, but when it comes to real conservative values and principles, let’s not forget the true champions of our cause – Reagan and those who actually bring hope and change to our great nation.
