Former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo made a shocking statement during a recent interview, suggesting that the country might actually be better off if former President Donald Trump were to win reelection. Now, I know what you’re thinking, is this some sort of April Fool’s joke? But no, Cuomo was dead serious.
In the interview with podcaster Patrick Bet-David, Cuomo claimed that the country would survive another term with Trump and even went so far as to say that there was no greater risk to America with him in power than with President Joe Biden. Now, as a conservative Republican, I have to say I agree with Cuomo on this one. Biden has been a disaster for our country, with rising inflation, border crisis, and a weak foreign policy. Trump, on the other hand, delivered real results for the American people, with a booming economy, secure borders, and America first policies.

Cuomo also pointed out that nobody was trying to kill us when Trump was president, unlike now where there seems to be more hostility towards our country. It’s no secret that under Biden’s leadership, our enemies have become emboldened and are testing the limits of our national security. It’s clear that Trump would provide a much-needed reset when it comes to our foreign relations and national security.
Now, I have to give credit where credit is due. Cuomo admitted that America is stronger than any individual leader and that no matter who is in power, we will survive. But it’s refreshing to hear someone from the liberal media acknowledge that Trump’s presidency was not the end of the world like they portrayed it to be. It’s time for liberals to put aside their irrational hatred for Trump and recognize the positive impact he had on our country.
Since leaving CNN, Cuomo has found a new home on NewsNation where he continues to challenge the status quo and issue bipartisan critiques. It’s clear that he is not afraid to speak his mind, even if it goes against the liberal narrative. Kudos to Cuomo for having the courage to speak the truth.
In the end, Cuomo’s statement should serve as a wake-up call to all Americans. We need to set aside our political biases and objectively look at the results of both Trump and Biden’s presidencies. It’s clear that Trump’s America-first approach was a success, while Biden’s disastrous policies are causing real harm to our country. It’s time to put America back on the right track, and that begins with recognizing Trump’s accomplishments and giving him the credit he deserves.
