Delaware Embraces Human Composting: Are We Fertilizer in Leftist America?

Death is a reality we all must face, folks, and Delaware is getting a bit creative with how they handle it. The Delaware Senate, with a 14-7 vote, has given the green light to human composting as a new option for what to do with our earthly remains. Now, this may sound like something out of a sci-fi movie, but believe it or not, it’s becoming a legal trend in several states, including Washington and California.

Supporters of this eco-friendly practice, dubbed “natural organic reduction,” claim it’s a more environmentally conscious and cost-effective alternative to traditional burial or cremation. Less energy, no formaldehyde, no CO2 emissions – sounds like a win-win, right? Well, not everyone is on board with the idea of becoming compost. Some critics argue it’s just plain disrespectful. Senator David Lawson even went as far as saying it goes against his religious beliefs. To each their own, I suppose.

I can’t help but wonder – what’s next? Will PETA start protesting “vegan” potatoes grown in soil mixed with human remains? It’s a strange world we live in, folks. But hey, giving people more options for their final send-off isn’t necessarily a bad thing. After all, diversity of choice is what makes America great, right?Whether you’re a traditionalist who prefers a good old burial or someone who’s up for a more unconventional approach like human composting, at least now in Delaware, you have the option. And that, my friends, is what freedom is all about.
