Outgoing Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO) made it clear that the Republican-led House impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden’s possible involvement with his son Hunter’s business deals is nothing but a sideshow that needs to end ASAP. During an appearance on CNN’s “OutFront,” Buck emphatically stated that it is time to put a stop to this circus and refocus on real issues.

Buck argued that while there is merit in investigating Hunter Biden’s actions, it’s time to acknowledge that this inquiry has gone on for too long and has likely already uncovered enough evidence. He stressed the need to address laws that limit the influence of the president and vice president’s family members on outside businesses. But above all, Buck expressed a sense of urgency to move on from this distracting spectacle and concentrate on more pressing matters.
The congressman emphasized that the investigation into President Biden’s alleged involvement with his son’s business dealings has outstayed its welcome. He urged his colleagues and the American people to recognize that there are crucial issues, such as proper allocation of funds for Ukraine, that deserve more attention. In Buck’s view, it’s high time to wrap up this sideshow and refocus on the important work that lies ahead.
