The Democratic Party is at it again, folks. Just when you think they’ve run out of tricks, they manage to pull out another baseless attempt to attack former President Donald Trump. This latest stunt comes from Representative Shri Thanedar of Michigan, who has introduced a flurry of articles of impeachment against Trump. It’s laughable, yet also deeply troubling, how far these Democrats will go to undermine the leaders who actually fight for American values.
Thanedar, in a desperate attempt to grab headlines, lists seven reasons for impeachment that are more fiction than fact. He starts with accusations of obstruction of justice and misuse of executive power. Really? Since when is protecting American borders and ensuring our laws are followed an abuse of power? It’s clear that Thanedar’s priority is catering to illegal immigrant sympathizers, not standing up for the law-abiding citizens of this country.
Then there’s this delusional claim that Trump is taking away Congress’ power of the purse. All Trump did was slash unnecessary government spending and bureaucratic bloat. That’s called fiscal responsibility, a concept the Democrats haven’t grasped in decades. Thanedar’s claim about abuse of trade powers is another swing and a miss. Implementing tariffs to protect American jobs and industries is something every patriotic leader should do.

These left-wing liberals really lose the plot when they start muttering about First Amendment attacks. They’re apparently outraged that Trump fought back against a media hell-bent on destroying him with lies and fake news. Exercising his own right to free speech somehow becomes an impeachable offense in Thanedar’s warped worldview. Let’s not forget the absurdity of the so-called creation of some nonsensical department targeting Elon Musk, as if he holds the keys to America’s data privacy. This is what Democrats do—create phony bogeymen instead of addressing real issues.
Lastly, Thanedar rambles about bribery, tyranny, and other buzzwords plucked from the Democrats’ ever-growing thesaurus of deceit. They paint Trump as some sort of dictatorial overlord out to snuff the Constitution. Yet who’s really trying to tear down American democracy here? It’s the party that embraces open borders, defends lawbreakers, and pushes forward ridiculous impeachment schemes purely out of spite.
Even in a world gone mad, there’s only so much nonsense that voters will put up with. It’s high time the Democrats put aside their hissy fits and faced the real problems America is dealing with. Or will they ever learn?
