Liberals got a taste of their own medicine when they realized that conservatives, led by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, had a pretty good idea about splitting up the United States into red and blue states. Turns out, even some Democrats agree that a political break from conservative-leaning states is necessary. According to a survey conducted by the Center for Politics at the University of Virginia, 31% of Biden supporters are on board with secession. And it gets even juicier: 41% of Trump supporters support the idea too!

Now, hold on to your hats folks, because things are about to get really wild. It turns out that a significant number of Americans on both sides of the aisle think democracy is no longer cutting it. That’s right, nearly one-third of Trump supporters and a quarter of Biden supporters agree that we should explore alternative forms of government. Whew, talk about a shake-up!
But wait, there’s more. Despite President Joe Biden’s promises to unite the country, Americans are becoming more politically divided. Both Biden and Trump voters believe that electing officials from the other party would bring lasting harm to the United States. And let’s not forget that half of Biden voters and Trump voters see supporters of the other party as threats to the American way of life.
Oh, and it gets even crazier. About 40% of both groups actually think it’s acceptable to use violence to prevent the other side from achieving their goals. Yikes!
So, what does all of this mean? It means that our country is in serious trouble, folks. The divisions are growing deeper, and the idea of breaking up the United States is becoming more appealing to a significant portion of the population. It’s time for some serious soul-searching, folks, because clearly, something isn’t working. Maybe it’s time to try something new, something different. The future of our country may depend on it.
And just in case you were wondering, the latest polls show Biden leading Trump in a head-to-head election, but the margin is slim. The Center for Politics says Biden leads 52% to 48%. However, a CNBC survey also found Trump leading Biden by four points. It’s still anyone’s game, folks. Buckle up!
