If there’s one thing Elon Musk has proven, it’s that brilliance doesn’t exempt anyone from the school of hard knocks, especially in the political arena. In his fallout with Donald Trump, Musk learned what it means to mess with the big leagues. Sure, he’s revolutionized digital payments, car manufacturing, space travel, you name it. But none of that makes him a player in the unpredictable and unforgiving game of politics. No surprise that GOP voters, with unshakeable loyalty, are throwing their chips in with Trump over Musk by a landslide margin of 71% to 6%.
Let’s face it, Musk stepped on a hornet’s nest. He can’t waltz on the political stage and expect a red carpet after taking potshots at the White House. Call it audacious, naive, or downright foolish. Say all you want about Trump’s flaws, but he knows how to resonate with Americans across the board. You know you’re doing something right when you’ve got Democrats losing their minds, claiming he’s the boogeyman of all boogeymen while they’re just trying to keep their own party afloat. Let’s not kid ourselves—the Democrats have no idea how to manage a crisis of this magnitude. Instead, they’re chasing after shadows while Trump continues his ascendancy. If Musk thought he could outsmart the tidal wave of Trumpism, he’s barely keeping afloat now.

But hey, maybe Musk likes to live dangerously—otherwise he wouldn’t have entered the political circus in the first place. The Democrats are desperate, and Musk’s missteps are their latest scandalous distraction. But aren’t we used to their feigned outrage by now?
The stakes are high, and we can’t afford to lose focus. As Musk regroups, Trump is seizing the momentum, riding a wave of public and political support that keeps growing regardless of the controversies swirling around him. Disapproval from the left, a divided opposition, and a resurging GOP—Trump’s got all the ingredients for his path to victory. So here’s the real question for 2025: Are we going to let the Democrats snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, or will we seize this moment to finally make America great again?
