In the latest attack on the Biden family by the leftist FBI, House Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) has issued a statement about the FBI’s refusal to comply with a congressional subpoena for unclassified records that allegedly connect former Vice President Joe Biden to an international bribery scandal. The FBI has decided to shield Biden and obstruct justice by denying the release of the documents. Comer has condemned the FBI’s actions, calling it unacceptable.
Christopher Wray, Director of the FBI, will soon face contempt of Congress charges for refusing to comply with a lawful subpoena to produce essential documents regarding the foreign national bribery scandal. Comer has made it clear that the House Oversight Committee’s intent is to protect Congressional oversight authorities, and they will not tolerate the FBI’s lack of transparency regarding this matter.
Republicans have grown increasingly annoyed by the FBI’s blatant cover-up of the Democrats’ crime involving Biden and the foreign national. Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has publicly told Wray to produce the documents that prove Biden’s participation in a $5 million bribery scheme during his term as vice president, or face contempt of Congress charges. These documents contain information from an informant and testimony detailing what the FBI is trying to hide.

The Biden family has a history of corruption. At the time of these accusations, Hunter Biden, Joe Biden’s son, was under federal scrutiny for potential tax evasion and false statements. The FBI’s refusal to provide the necessary documents is yet another example of the left’s efforts to undermine justice and cover up Biden’s wrongdoings. Comer asserted, “Americans deserve the truth, and the Oversight Committee will continue to demand transparency from this nation’s chief law enforcement agency.”
Despite repeated requests, the FBI has neglected to arrange a call with Senator Grassley and Chairman Comer to discuss the FD-1023 form. The committee has proposed to make necessary redactions and further limit the subpoena’s scope. However, the FBI has shown no cooperation or willingness to engage in a fair process. The House Oversight Committee is now forced to initiate contempt of Congress proceedings if the FBI does not produce the documents by May 30, 2023.
