In a shocking turn of events, a fired barista at a chain coffee shop in Atlanta’s international airport engaged in a wild brawl with her manager. It’s like a scene out of a Hollywood action movie, but unfortunately, this is real life! Shacoria Elly, a former barista at Harvest & Grounds, was allegedly unable to control her temper as she attacked not one, but two of her bosses before making her dramatic exit.
According to a police report obtained by Fox 5 Atlanta, the dispute began when Elly tried to enter the back of the store, only to be stopped by her managers. They were attempting to prevent her from approaching another employee, but it seems that Elly was determined to cause chaos. What could have possibly sparked this incredibly intense altercation, you might ask? Well, apparently it all started with an argument over espresso shots. Yes, you heard that right – espresso shots!

Now, I don’t know about you, but it’s hard to imagine something as trivial as espresso shots leading to a physical fight. But alas, it seems like nothing is off-limits when it comes to modern-day workplace disputes. In the video footage, which thankfully doesn’t include any flying espresso cups, we can see Elly trying to throw a chair, which was promptly snatched away by one of her managers. She then proceeded to swing a pan, crossing over the counter like a ninja warrior. Move over, Bruce Lee!
After her brief but eventful performance, Elly made a swift exit, shouting at her managers to return her belongings. It’s unclear why she felt the need to retrieve her own stuff when her managers were more than willing to assist her. But hey, who needs rational thinking in the heat of the moment? As the saying goes, “Give me my stuff, or I’ll give you a piece of my mind!”
Thankfully, police arrived on the scene just as Elly was strutting out of the coffee shop. She may have thought she made a daring escape, but little did she know that her reign of coffee shop chaos was about to come crashing down. Not only was she terminated from her position, but airport security also confiscated her badge. It looks like her barista days are officially over.
