A Florida attorney, Michael Steinberg, is taking on the big dogs of the state Democratic Party after they tried to pull a fast one. The party tried to clear the way for good ol’ President Joe Biden to waltz into the 2024 presidential race without breaking a sweat. But Steinberg isn’t having it, no sir!

The attorney filed a lawsuit against the Florida Democratic Party and Secretary of State Cord Byrd. He’s arguing that the party’s sneaky move to put only Biden’s name on the ballot is downright unconstitutional. And he’s not wrong! This attorney is speaking up for the little guys, folks like you and me, who just want a fair shake at choosing who gets to run for president. It’s the American way!
Steinberg made it clear in his lawsuit that this power play by the Florida Democratic Party isn’t just unfair, it’s downright un-American! He pointed out that this move would tip the scales in favor of ol’ Joe, leaving other potential candidates in the dust. And we can’t have that, can we?
The attorney isn’t just throwing his weight around, either. He’s bringing up Rep. Dean Phillips from Minnesota as an example of a candidate who got the short end of the stick. Phillips got snubbed when the party decided to give Biden the red carpet treatment. Steinberg’s not having it, and neither should we!
But the bigwigs at the Florida Democratic Party are playing hardball. They’re standing by their decision, claiming it’s all just a day in the life of politics. Well, we’re not buying it! How can we trust a party that plays dirty tricks like this?
Now, it’s up to the courts to decide if the Florida Democratic Party can pull the wool over our eyes. If the judge rules in their favor, the party will be off the hook and Biden will have smooth sailing into the primary. But if justice prevails, we’ll see a fair fight among the Democratic hopefuls. Only time will tell, folks!
