Fraud fears within the Biden-Harris immigration program, cleverly dubbed CHNV, are raising eyebrows across the nation. This program was designed to be a superhighway for immigrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela, allowing up to 30,000 individuals to enter the U.S. legally via parole. However, upon closer inspection, it appears this highway has become littered with fraudulent applications that have put the brakes on the entire operation.
A report from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services uncovered a staggering number of fake Social Security Numbers being used by sponsors—some even belonging to individuals six feet under. As if that wasn’t alarming enough, select fraudulent SSNs boasted the unmistakable creativity of numbers like 111-11-1111 or 666-66-6666. This raises a critical question: how did the Biden-Harris administration not see the signs that their immigration strategy was about as secure as a screen door on a submarine?

The report also revealed that a mere 100 addresses were tied to over 19,000 applications—a feat of logistics that would make even the most seasoned event planner raise an eyebrow. There were applications submitted from locations as unconventional as mobile homes, warehouses, and storage units. It would take an expert in fraud to orchestrate such a poorly designed scheme, and yet here we are, with the DHS raising the white flag and pausing this program for “an abundance of caution.” If caution is the goal, then one must ask why it took so long to hit the brakes.
To add insult to injury, the report indicated troubling patterns in the applicant data—like identical responses showing up in over 10,000 applications. The chaos doesn’t stop there; it was revealed that a single sponsor’s phone number appeared over 2,000 times, associating them with different sponsors and an array of addresses that could only be described as suspicious, to put it mildly. If this is what passes for due diligence in vetting under the current administration, then everything happening down at the border is a bigger comedy act than anyone could have imagined.
House Committee on Homeland Security Chairman Mark Green has not been shy about calling out the incompetence surrounding this program. He suggested that the report serves as a glaring testament to the administration’s failures when it comes to vetting immigrants. It’s hard to argue against that point when the number of sponsorships connected to the deceased is expertly rivaled by the number of absurdly fake application details running rampant under the Biden watch.
The message is clear: the Biden-Harris program not only opened the floodgates to potential fraud but has also given ample ammunition to critics. With an overwhelmed system and a lack of basic safeguards, this far-left endeavor is nothing short of an open invitation to anyone willing to exploit the system—exactly the kind of public policy that would make any sane citizen shake their head in disbelief. The only thing that remains to be seen is whether the Biden administration will take this opportunity to go back to the drawing board or whether they will continue riding this unregulated highway of chaos.
