Ruben Gallego just can’t help himself. Instead of taking responsibility or clearing the air about the bombshell accusations tossed his way by Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, he charged in, guns blazing, and managed to make this political firestorm even bigger. That’s the typical Democrat playbook—deflect, play victim, and hope the media runs cover. But America’s watching, and this time, the curtain’s slipping.
Let’s not forget who Gallego has been cozying up to: Eric Swalwell—another Democrat embarrassment who found himself smothered by sexual harassment and assault allegations just last week. The left can’t keep their scandals straight these days. These are the same folks lecturing conservatives about “morality” and “standards,” meanwhile, their inner circle is crumbling under the weight of real, serious claims.

Instead of addressing the heart of Luna’s revelations, Gallego’s camp tried their favorite trick—attack the messenger. But in doing so, they only looked more desperate and rattled. When Democrats get caught red-handed, their first instinct is to deflect, name-call, and pretend the facts don’t matter. And let’s be real: If the roles were reversed, the leftist media would already be calling for resignations, demanding public shaming, and raking every Republican through the mud.
What happened to accountability? The party of “believe all women” is giving Gallego a pass because he’s one of their own and because it’s an election year. There’s no hand-wringing from their Hollywood allies. Not a peep from their so-called “progressive” champions who love to scream about justice—until it’s inconvenient.
The hypocrisy here is staggering. Americans see what’s going on. The left says they want to clean up Washington, but when it’s their friends who get caught, they scramble to sweep things under the rug. Gallego’s response reeks of typical DC arrogance—the old belief that the rules don’t apply if you’re part of the liberal elite.
If Gallego and his pals can’t handle tough questions and real accountability, why should anyone trust them to run the country? Maybe it’s time voters send these hypocrites packing—for good.
