Gen Z men are singing a new tune, and it seems to be coming from the Trump camp while Kamala Harris’s music falls flat. As certain circles of young males are waking up to the grim reality of their political landscape, they’re looking at the former president with a glimmer of hope. While the majority of Gen Z might still be riding the leftist wave, the Harris candidacy has stirred a shift among some young men who are eager for a different kind of leadership.
The New York Times, an establishment pillar known for pushing progressive narratives, recently admitted in an article that many men in this age group feel abandoned. It appears that the left’s ongoing campaign against traditional masculinity—from declaring it toxic to labeling it oppressive—might not be the winning strategy they thought it was. It almost seems like they were banking on conformity, but alas, these young men are defying expectations by turning towards a figure who embodies strength and swagger instead of yielding to the prevailing rhetoric of victimization.

Kamala Harris, the presumptive Democratic nominee, continues to represent a brand of feminism that promotes power simply for being female, all while failing to showcase any real competence. It’s hard to convince young men that they should look to someone like her as a role model when Donald Trump stands as a stark contrast; he exudes confidence, charisma, and a message of American vigor that resonates well beyond the political arena.
A recent poll shows that even when President Biden was still in the running, young men aged 18 to 29 leaned towards Trump by an impressive 11 percentage points. This effectively translates to a growing chasm in the voting choices of young men versus young women, with the numbers swinging wildly in favor of Trump among men. Once Harris stepped into the spotlight, that support among young men climbed to a solid 13-point lead for Trump. Meanwhile, young women continued marching in lockstep with Harris, creating a remarkable 51-point gender gap.
The economic havoc unleashed by the current administration and spearheaded by the duo of Biden and Harris hasn’t gone unnoticed. Young men are waking up to the fact that their future is being compromised directly due to policies that prioritize illegal immigration and progressive ideologies over their hopes and dreams. What’s even more concerning is that this new awareness is sharpening their desire for leadership that is actually in tune with their struggles—namely, the kind of leadership that Trump promises to deliver.
As more men and women alike grapple with the flawed expectations set by radical feminism and a leftist agenda that promotes confusion rather than clarity, there’s hope on the horizon. If only more young women could find their way back to common sense and responsibility, the possibilities for rejuvenating American values could truly flourish. Amidst the fog of disillusionment, perhaps Trump could serve as a beacon to steer this generation towards a more virtuous understanding of what it means to be both strong and American.
