(Somewhere, Kamala Harris probably laughed.) Bidenworld claims this as a victory, arguing it should comfort undecided voters about his ability to go toe-to-toe with international rivals. Yeah, sure—if they were barely holding on to that faith before.
And with that, the Democratic playbook hasn’t changed one bit: let an 81-year-old man drone on for sixty minutes, mush-mouthing through topics like trickle-down economics and the joys of investing in China—all while failing to officially debunk concerns about his capacity to handle the Oval Office. His meandering, off-the-cuff anecdotes even included griping about his wife and staff overbooking his calendar. Because nothing says “fit for a second term” like lamenting the burdens of your schedule to reporters.
The best part? Biden’s “gaffe” wasn’t the cherry on top of the press conference disaster sundae. It was his overall, halting delivery. The man who once commanded rooms now stumbles over basic sentences, demonstrating that his most significant threat isn’t his opposition—it’s the ticking clock. With 77 to 86 percent of polls showing that Americans think Biden is too old to be effective, and with Biden himself refusing to acknowledge these inconvenient truths, the Democrats have a real problem.
Liberals had hoped Biden would address doubts about his tenure with some reassuring rhetoric, yet he managed to dangle the option of an open convention in front of the hungry media outlets that he usually scoffs at. The Democratic National Convention could literally see a mass exodus of Biden delegates, and he wouldn’t bat an eyelash. Perhaps Biden’s playing a different game, one where his frail political corpse is dragged across the finish line before his party finds its footing again.

The mainstream media, predictably, didn’t press the president on any of the tough issues. Despite RealClearInvestigations pointing out the alarming absence of cabinet meetings, Hunter Biden’s shady White House role, and the frequent visits from a Parkinson’s Disease expert, journalists lobbed softballs. This press conference felt like it came straight out of a dystopian political thriller where everyone pretends the emperor isn’t walking around nude.
And let’s not forget the grand takeaway: Biden called Trump his VP. That’s the snippet making rounds on social media faster than Kamala can say “we did it, Joe.” But while the Left wrangles with yet another Biden blunder, conservatives remain confident that the circus will keep the American public thoroughly entertained (and maybe a tad horrified) until someone finally changes the channel.
