The GOP elites are out in full force, and it’s clear that they have no intention of supporting President Donald Trump in the 2024 election. The Club for Growth, a top conservative campaign group, will be hosting a donor retreat in Florida this weekend, inviting all of the top GOP candidates – except for Trump.

The list of attendees includes former U.N. ambassador Nikki Haley, conservative influencer Vivek Ramaswamy, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former Vice President Mike Pence, South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, and New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu.
This is a clear indication that the GOP elites are trying to distance themselves from Trump and his supporters. They are attempting to paint him as a pariah and a political misfit, and they are doing everything they can to ensure that he does not have a chance at winning the nomination in 2024.
It’s also telling that failed Trump challenger Jeb Bush has been praising Ron DeSantis and expressing support for his potential presidential candidacy. Bush has been emphasizing the need for a “more forward-leaning future” and affirming his belief that DeSantis has the opportunity to run for higher office.
This is a blatant attempt by the GOP elites to undermine Trump and his supporters. It is an affront to democracy and an insult to the millions of people who voted for Trump in 2020. The GOP elites are trying to rig the system in order to ensure that their chosen candidate wins the nomination, and this is unacceptable.
The GOP elites should be ashamed of themselves for trying to manipulate the political process in order to get their chosen candidate elected. This is a disgraceful display of power and privilege, and it should not be tolerated. The American people deserve better from their elected officials, and they deserve a fair and open election process.
