Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) didn’t hold back on her fiery criticism of House Republican leaders this week, declaring that their performance has been lackluster at best. In a no-holds-barred social media tirade, the unapologetic advocate of former President Donald J. Trump took aim at the budget bill Congress recently passed before heading off on their Easter recess, and it’s safe to say she wasn’t impressed.

According to Greene, if House Republicans are “lucky,” a potential Trump victory in the upcoming fall election could be their saving grace. But let’s not get it twisted—she made it abundantly clear that their fortunes certainly won’t be riding on their job performance! The Georgia firebrand boldly proclaimed that the GOP has failed to provide any substantial reasons for conservative Republicans and “America First” voters to stick with them once Trump is out of the picture.
In a scathing rebuke directed at House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), Greene didn’t mince words. She pulled no punches in her fervent belief that Johnson dropped the ball when it came to securing wins for the GOP in the whopping $1.2 trillion spending plan signed by President Joe Biden. Such a move, in Greene’s eyes, was a colossal failure to deliver on conservative principles and uphold promises made to the American people.

Greene’s unwavering stance has sparked a firestorm of controversy, with a wave of conservative members and voters alike blasting the pork-filled projects in the budget bill and the glaring lack of significant border funding. It’s clear that the dissatisfaction runs deep.
