The state of affairs in Washington, D.C. has reached a level that’s equal parts outrageous and surreal, as “HamaNazis” stormed through the streets protesting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech to Congress. These rioters didn’t just disrupt the peace; they decided to take their antics a step further by invading the Watergate Hotel, where the Prime Minister was staying, and somehow managing to release maggots. Yes, you read that right—maggots. It seems the protestors were less interested in political discourse and more focused on creating a scene fit for a horror movie.
While the radical left continues to dismiss these anti-Semitic outbursts as mere expressions of free speech, rational Americans are left scratching their heads and wondering how we arrived at a point where actual support for Hamas—an organization that openly calls for the destruction of Israel—is tolerated by a significant portion of the political left. It’s almost as if Democrats are stuck on a carousel of contradictions, cheerleading for causes that oppose the very essence of democracy.

Kamala Harris once again showcased her questionable priorities by choosing to attend a sorority event rather than show support for Israel during Netanyahu’s visit. This begs the question: what message does this send? While the rioters vandalized monuments and lit flags on fire, the Vice President stood by in solidarity with those who blatantly oppose one of America’s key allies. With this kind of leadership, it’s no wonder that America’s enemies—and friends—aren’t quite sure what to think anymore.
In the face of escalating anti-Semitism, Scott Pinsker pointed out that the radical left seems to have a major problem on its hands. While they dismiss such rampant hatred as fringe, fair-minded folks can’t help but notice the disturbing trend towards violent intolerance. If the right-wingers are predictable for their disapproval of this insanity, then where are the calls for accountability from the Democrats? This isn’t some fringe group; these protests are gaining traction, and yet the left remains eerily silent.
Adding to the absurdity of the moment, one can’t help but think of the comparisons being drawn to January 6th. Julie Kelly highlighted videos of the Hamas supporters’ violent actions—fascinatingly similar to the treatment of those who participated in the Capitol protest that Democrats would rather forget. Perhaps when it comes to rioting, some are more “equal” than others.
What’s clear is that this situation is emblematic of a deeper chasm within American politics. As choices loom in the upcoming election, Americans will have to decide whether they stand with a president who shows unconditional support for Israel or with those who seem to endorse terror against it. It’s a classic choice between good versus evil, where one side is openly backing violence while the other fights to defend liberty and friendship.
