Ms. Elizabeth Hirsch Naftali, the great-aunt in question, apparently purchased art from Hunter Biden before being appointed by Joe Biden to the U.S. Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad. Talk about a cozy relationship. It’s like they can’t help but scratch each other’s backs.
Naturally, this revelation has raised concerns about conflicts of interest and good ol’ nepotism within the Biden administration. I mean, is anyone really surprised at this point? It’s like they’re playing a never-ending game of “how close can we push the boundaries of ethics.”
What’s even more concerning is that Hunter’s former business associate, Eric Schwerin, was also appointed to the same commission by President Obama. It’s like they have a secret club where they only appoint their buddies to positions of power. Is this how our government is supposed to work?
The House Committee on Oversight and Accountability even launched an investigation into Hunter’s art career, specifically focusing on whether he was using it as a way to peddle influence and gain access to the White House. And guess what? The identities of his art purchasers were supposed to be kept confidential, but surprise, surprise, turns out one of them was a Democrat donor appointed by none other than Joe Biden himself. Can you smell the corruption, or is it just me?
Rep. James Comer had the guts to send letters to Ms. Naftali, asking for information about her art purchase, her appointment, and the White House’s involvement in the whole shady affair. Finally, someone who isn’t afraid to hold these elites accountable!
This investigation is not just about Hunter Biden’s questionable art dealings, but also about the broader scrutiny into how the Biden family and their associates have raked in millions from foreign sources. It’s all about following the money and exposing the truth.
