For those naysayers who claim this bill unfairly targets transgender individuals, they need to cool their jets. This isn’t about discrimination, it’s about responsibility. Do people really want their hard-earned cash going towards surgeries that have more risks than a tightrope walker at the circus? It’s simply not fiscally responsible. This action, effective this summer, keeps things simple by maintaining separate spaces for males and females in public schools. It’s about time we stop tiptoeing around and start standing up for what’s right.
