Special counsel Jack Smith is at it again, trying to fast-track former President Donald Trump’s trial to the Supreme Court. Smith is hell-bent on making sure Trump doesn’t have a minute to breathe before he’s brought to justice for so-called election fraud.

Smith claims the urgency of the situation warrants an immediate decision from the Supreme Court, arguing that this case is of the “utmost gravity” and involves criminal charges against a former president. He’s trying to paint a picture of the nation anxiously waiting for justice, but anyone with common sense knows it’s just a ploy to keep the spotlight on Trump and distract from the real issues our country faces.
And let’s not forget, Trump’s legal team urged the high court not to rush their decision, pointing out that in the entirety of American history, no president has ever faced criminal prosecution for his official acts. That’s right, not a single one! They’re calling out the left’s antics, recognizing that this case is unprecedented and should not be decided with “breakneck speed.” Bravo to Trump’s team for standing up to the radical left’s eagerness to drag their feet on a decision.
Smith, in his desperation, is trying to bypass the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals and force the Supreme Court to intervene. He’s so determined to see Trump brought down that he’s willing to circumvent the normal legal process. How’s that for playing by the rules?
It’s clear that Smith’s motives are politically driven, as any delay in the trial would conveniently benefit the left by keeping Trump tied up in legal battles and out of the political arena. And we all know what the left fears most is Trump returning to the spotlight and shaking up the establishment – so they’ll do whatever it takes to keep him muzzled.
