Democrats are sinking to desperate new lows, and this time it’s Jamie Raskin grasping at straws to revive the tired, phony “classified documents” drama against President Trump. Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary, didn’t hesitate to expose this sham for what it is—a sad, calculated attempt to smear Trump when the left has nothing left. Raskin’s feeble letter to the Department of Justice is the latest episode in the endless Democrat soap opera. He’s pushing wild claims, insisting that some of Trump’s old documents were tied up with “business interests” and national security, but he offers no proof. Sound familiar? This is pure Adam Schiff playbook—scream the loudest, prove nothing, and run to cable news for some cheap airtime.
Truth is, Leavitt made Raskin look silly. She rightly called out that these so-called “damning revelations” weren’t even real evidence. The claims never made it into a court indictment because they were just that flimsy. Not even the Biden DOJ, famous for its partisan witch hunts, could spin those accusations into something legally coherent. Even journalists in the room—those who aren’t full-on leftist parrots—knew better than to run with Raskin’s fantasy. Of course, the left-wing media can’t help themselves. They snatch every crumb of anti-Trump narrative and blow it into a full-blown crisis. But Americans are wise to their games.

Let’s not pretend this is about “national security” or the integrity of classified info. It’s about Raskin and his Democrat buddies being terrified of a Trump comeback. They thought endless investigations and bogus charges would keep him out of the White House. They failed. Now, they’re shamelessly recycling old talking points—anything to distract from skyrocketing inflation, broken borders, and their own failure to lead.
Raskin’s claim that only a handful of people ever saw these documents is meant to sound explosive. But where’s the proof? Nowhere. It’s another episode of “trust us, we’re the experts,” with zero evidence. The American public has moved on from this nonsense. Only career politicians and their media mouthpieces are still pretending anyone cares. Democrats apparently believe that if they say something wild enough times, voters will magically ignore crime, open borders, and hollowed-out communities.
At the end of the day, this is the oldest trick in the Democrat playbook: accuse, invent, and distract. When facts and reason are on Trump’s side, the left relies on theater and smear jobs. Karoline Leavitt has their number, and she isn’t afraid to say it—unlike the cowards and con artists still clinging to their broken narratives. Maybe Raskin can snag a few more minutes on MSNBC, but the rest of us see this for what it is: a pathetic attempt to interfere in the next election. How much more obvious can their desperation get?
