CNN recently attempted a bold move by interviewing young grade school kids to gather their thoughts on politics. What they didn’t bank on were the savage responses they would receive from these brutally honest little critics. Kids say the darndest things, especially when it comes to politics!
In a feeble effort to boost Kamala Harris’s image, CNN ventured into a local elementary school to seek cute and positive remarks about her. However, things took an unexpected turn. One brave young lad, when asked about Kamala, simply labeled her a “liar” without batting an eye. Ouch! Looks like honesty really is the best policy, even from a child.

The CNN reporter was left dumbfounded by the unexpected and unfiltered response. Attempting to salvage the situation, the reporter turned to a sweet little girl for a more favorable opinion. But alas, even she didn’t play along with the expected narrative. While acknowledging the significance of having a Black woman as president, she shockingly revealed that her vote was still on Trump. Talk about an unexpected twist!
It’s both amusing and a tad concerning that politics has seeped into the innocent minds of children. Let kids be kids! They shouldn’t have to worry about the complexities of politics at such a young age. But hey, at least their candid remarks provided some much-needed comic relief amidst the serious political chatter.
In a world where the media often tries to manipulate narratives, these kids served up some unfiltered truth bombs. It’s refreshing to see that honesty still prevails, even if it comes from the mouths of babes. Perhaps CNN should think twice before tapping into the wisdom of youngsters for political commentary next time. Let kids enjoy their childhood without the weight of political drama on their shoulders.
