The recent Gallup poll has uncovered a shocking revelation – the number of Americans claiming to be part of the LGBT community has soared at an alarming rate over the past decade. This unquestionably raises concerns among conservative circles about the so-called “progressive agenda” influencing the younger generations.
The poll, released by Gallup, indicates that a whopping 7.6 percent of American adults aged 18 and above now identify as LGBTQ, marking a significant leap from the mere 3.5 percent who did so in 2012. It seems like everyone is suddenly jumping on the rainbow bandwagon!
Why do so many Americans feel bereft of purpose that they define themselves this way?

However, before we start celebrating this sudden surge in alternative identities, it’s important to note that a large portion of these individuals identify as bisexual. This begs the question: are they truly embracing their sexuality, or is this merely a trend to appear more socially woke?
It comes as no surprise that the majority of the LGBTQ+ population consists of bisexual adults, making up 4.4% of U.S. adults. But let’s not forget the “traditional” gay and lesbian community, each representing just slightly over 1% of American adults. It seems like a case of “anything goes” these days.
What’s even more concerning is the demographic breakdown, with younger generations being more likely to identify as LGBTQ+. Are we witnessing a generation lost to liberal indoctrination? It’s disheartening to see that over 20% of Gen Z adults and nearly 10% of millennials are joining the rainbow brigade, while the percentage dwindles significantly among older generations.
One cannot help but question the motives behind this sudden surge in LGBT identification. Is it a genuine reflection of society’s changing attitudes, or is it a result of leftist propaganda infiltrating every aspect of our lives? It’s high time we start standing firm against this radical shift and preserve the traditional values that made America great.
