These are the same people who lecture the rest of us about “protecting democracy,” but when it comes to securing our President, they’d rather virtue signal than actually fix glaring problems. Globalist elites love to gather in fancy, fortified venues for their own meetings, but when President Trump steps up to protect American leaders, suddenly they clutch their pearls.
Rivera’s pivot is proof that even some left-leaning commentators can’t ignore reality forever. It only takes one close call to expose just how incompetent and reckless the D.C. establishment can be. For years, liberals have mocked Trump’s ideas—until the facts are staring them in the face, and then they scramble to catch up.
