In a shocking, yet entirely predictable, turn of events, the Defense Digital Service (DDS)—a supposed beacon of innovation within the Department of Defense—finds itself dismantled, with staff lining up to exit stage left. Why? Because the so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has turned DDS into a classic Washington tale of government waste and futility. It’s a dramatic reminder of how liberal policies continue to fail our nation’s most crucial departments.
Created in 2015, DDS was supposed to revolutionize the Defense Department by bringing in the best practices from the private sector. But now, thanks to DOGE’s bureaucratic quagmire, DDS is preparing to shutter operations, leaving a once-promising initiative in shambles. Insiders revealed that DDS staff feel completely sidelined by the DOGE, which seems to practice inefficiency rather than target it.

Not to mention, a damning audit from the Department of Defense Office of the Inspector General found that DDS engaged in questionable activities, allowing unauthorized software to roam free within crucial U.S. systems. This is the kind of so-called “progress” we’ve seen under liberal watch—policies and systems supposedly designed to streamline become bogged down in red tape and scandal.
So here we stand with a tale of incompetence and waste—a team dismantled, innovation crushed, and inefficiency skyrocketing, all because of botched liberal oversight. If DDS was drowning, DOGE threw it an anchor. What a brilliant endorsement of liberal governance!
The question remains: With our national security at stake, how long will America tolerate this convoluted mess? It’s high time we demand accountability and real efficiency in our government’s operations, before we watch more promising initiatives destroyed by senseless progressive policies.
