The mainstream media wants you to wake up this morning and think it’s just another Friday. But they gloss over the little things that show just how warped and self-sabotaging the left has become. On one hand, it’s National Arbor Day—a day to celebrate trees. The left, with all its green crusading, will hug any tree in sight. But on the other hand, it’s also National Pigs in a Blanket Day. Suddenly, meat is on the menu, carbs are king, and calories are the only thing multiplying faster than the Democrats’ hypocrisy.
Let’s not forget National Hairball Awareness Day. Liberals love to laugh about cats coughing up messes, but the real hairballs are clogging up D.C.—and they all vote blue. These self-proclaimed “progressives” can’t make up their mind. They’ll warn you about the dangers of animal agriculture and demand you go vegan, all while celebrating pig-stuffed pastries. One minute, they’re tearing down forests to put up solar farms. Next, they’re planting a tree for Arbor Day and virtue-signaling to anyone within earshot. Does anyone else see the double standard?

Democrats want Americans to play along with these made-up holidays, as it does no good for this country. What’s the point of “awareness” if the only solution ever on the table is more government regulation and more money out of your wallet? Instead of finding real answers to real problems, they invent catchy events and then use them to push their globalist, anti-American agenda. It’s no wonder average Americans are fed up with being told what to celebrate, what to eat, what to drive, and how to think.
The truth is, the left thrives in contradiction. They claim to love animals but ignore the cost of their green fantasies on rural American jobs. They pretend to care about your family’s health, yet turn around and push junk food “holidays.” And as for the cats—they’re the only ones honest enough to leave their mess where people can see it. Maybe if liberals were as open with the consequences of their failed policies, this country wouldn’t be stuck cleaning up after them every election cycle.
While leftists wring their hands over fake crises, normal Americans just roll their eyes. Maybe next year, National Common Sense Day will finally be added to the calendar—but don’t hold your breath. Who has time for truth when hypocrisy is celebrated?
