Two innocent children were gunned down while praying at their Catholic school in Minneapolis this week. Instead of showing respect for the victims and their families, liberal Democrats launched a disgusting attack on Americans who offered prayers. This shameful response shows just how far the left has fallen from basic human decency.
MSNBC host Jen Psaki led the charge against prayer with a profanity-laced social media rant. She screamed that prayer is not enough and demanded people stop offering thoughts and prayers. Democrat Rep. Maxwell Frost used the same foul language to attack anyone daring to pray for the victims.
Vice President JD Vance stood up to these bullies with courage and grace. He reminded Americans that we pray because our hearts are broken and God listens to us. Vance asked why liberals feel the need to attack people for praying when children were just killed while praying themselves.
The attacks got even more vicious from there. Jeff Timmer from the never-Trump Lincoln Project told Senator Lindsey Graham to shut up for saying he was praying. These heartless liberals showed their true colors when innocent blood was still fresh on church floors.
The cruel irony cannot be ignored here. These precious children were murdered while they prayed during morning Mass at their Catholic school. Yet Democrats chose this moment to mock the very act of prayer that these kids were doing when evil struck them down.
This is what happens when a political party abandons God and traditional American values. Conservatives believe prayer brings comfort, strength, and guidance during our darkest hours. Liberals see prayer as weakness and want to shame anyone who turns to God for help.
