In yet another desperate attempt to smear the great state of Texas, a Facebook post has made the outrageous claim that Russia is going to supply weapons to Texas. Can you believe that? The liberals will stop at nothing to undermine our sovereignty and paint us as some sort of lawless territory. But fear not, patriots, because the claim is absolutely false!
According to the fact checkers, Lead Stories, there is absolutely no evidence to support this ludicrous claim. And let me tell you, Lead Stories is as unbiased as a lemonade stand selling Kool-Aid. They debunked this claim back in February, but apparently, someone decided to resurrect it from the political graveyard.
Now, let’s dive into the details of this fake news. The Facebook post cites the Hal Turner Radio Show as the source of this nonsense. I mean, come on, does anyone actually take the Hal Turner Radio Show seriously? It’s about as reliable as reading tea leaves to predict the weather.
But just for kicks, let’s see what they claim. Apparently, it’s some Russian guy named Vasily Nebenzya, who allegedly said that Russia will supply Texas with weapons. Oh, how convenient! But wait a minute, did anyone bother to fact check this Vasily Nebenzya character? Of course not! Because that would require actual journalism.
The fact checkers at Check Your Fact did a little digging and surprise, surprise, they found absolutely no evidence that Nebenzya ever made such a statement. They even scoured the UN’s website and social media accounts, just to be extra thorough. And guess what? Nada, zip, zilch! So it’s safe to say that this claim is as empty as Joe Biden’s promises.
But let’s not forget the real issue at hand here. The ongoing dispute between Texas and the federal government over the Southern Border. Texas Governor Greg Abbott and 12 other Republican governors have been standing up to the Biden administration’s failed immigration policies. And what does the liberal media do? They try to distract us with these baseless claims about Russian weapons.
We must remain vigilant, my fellow conservatives, and not let these attempts to divide us succeed. Texas is strong, Texas is proud, and Texas will not back down. We will secure our border, with or without the help of Russia.
