Marjorie Taylor Greene Finds Interesting Comparison to Trump’s Indictment

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia condemned the recent indictment of former President Donald Trump, comparing it to the persecution of Nelson Mandela and Jesus. On the Right Side Broadcasting Network, Greene said that Trump’s arrest was similar to the arrests of those incredible people, both of whom were punished by radical corrupt governments.

Various Republican presidential contenders and conservative media figures are announcing that the indictment is politically motivated and a dark moment in American history. The indictment claims that Trump paid out $130k to porn star Stormy Daniels, and he surrendered to face legal charges.

As a conservative, Greene earlier stated on Twitter that she was in New York to protest against the weaponization of the justice system against Donald Trump. However, after she announced her plans to protest the indictment, Democratic Mayor Eric Adams of New York City warned her to be on her best behavior or face consequences.

Greene is very vocal on the importance of protesting the injustice against Donald Trump, and she stands ready to do so. Despite the outrage, she remains strong in her support for the former president and his cause, dismissing the allegations against him as politically motivated.
