The strained relationship between Obama and the Bidens supposedly dates back to 2015 when then-Vice President Joe Biden was contemplating a presidential run that President Obama did not fully support. The tragic passing of Beau Biden, in the same year, followed by the subsequent turmoil within the Biden family, including Hunter’s issues and his divorce from Buhle, may have further soured the relations between the Obamas and the Bidens.
