In a recent interview with CNN, Pelosi continued to play her dual role as both a savvy politician and a self-proclaimed cheerleader for Biden, even while her actions suggest otherwise. Apparently, when the stakes are high, flattering the candidate can be a cover for the reality of a political hit job. According to sources, it was Pelosi who took the lead in advising Biden to consider stepping back—suggesting that while he remains “fabulous,” his campaign was looking about as appealing as last year’s fruitcake. With the U.S. gearing up to part ways with Biden for the first time in fifty years, it’s quite the legacy for Nancy to manage single-handedly.
Pelosi’s latest attempt at damage control involved praising Biden’s legacy while pretending her intervention was purely about the campaign’s direction.
